I am a theoretical ecologist with broad interests across a range of evolutionary and ecological areas. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher in the York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis (YCCSA) at the University of York, working with Dan Franks. The project is looking into the evolutionary basis of menopause in killer whales, one of only three mammal species (including humans) in which most adult females live well beyond the point at which they stop reproducing.
